Kocent Optec Limited provides a high optical performance Duplex LC Uniboot optical fibers patch cable which save half of the operation spaces required.

This Uniboot LC patchcord uses unified connectors housing and single-jacketed 3.0mm duplex cable.

It dramatically reduces 50% of cable required compare to standard zipcord LC patchcord, ultimately facilitating improved airflow within a high density environment such as data centers and 10G/40G optical networks.

The Uniboot patch cable utilises a special “round duplex” cable that allows duplex transmission within a single cable, and it reduces cable management space comparing to standard patch cords.

LC Uniboot cable assemblies offer the best solution for high-density applications, data centers, interconnect and cross connector, private networks and premise installations.

Patch Cords are used to provide optical connection for fiber optic electronics.

The use of the patch cord provides a quick and easy method for routing fiber patches in data centers, head-ends, cellular hubs and central offices.

The patch cord can be used in interconnect or cross-connect path connecting the incoming fibers to the electronic equipment and providing patching within the fiber paths.

Patch Cords include simplex, duplex and Multi-fibers assemblies.

- Adjustable Pitch allows the size of the connectors easily changed between Mini-LC 5.25 pitch and the standard LC 6.25 pitch. Suitable for both standard LC and Mini-LC application -Reverse Polarity of the connectors easily without connector re-termination.

- Quick Release Handling Bar allows for the quick and easy release of LC connector from the high density adapter panel without any removal tools.

- Reduce Size of duplex patchcords by using duplex round 2.0mm cable compared to the traditional duplex zipcord 2.0mm or 3.0mm cable.

With a finger latch release, the LC uniboot fiber patch cables eliminate the need for tools when making the polarity change. They are color-coded and labeled “A” and “B” to provide visual references when making a polarity flip. On top of the unique reversing polarity feature, the uniboot option cuts the amount of cabling by half compared to conventional duplex cords, greatly reducing cable congestion in racks and cabinets.
