Flange-to-Flange Torque Transducer 0-200N*m Reaction Torque Measurement Sensor
Flange mounted Reaction Torque Sensor FTG is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology with mV/V output intended for non-rotating torque measurement, flange torque transducer FTG is available in 0-88.5lbf*in / 0-177lb*in / 0-266lb-in / 0-443in-lb / 0-885lb*in / 0-1328lbf-in / 0-1770lbf*in seven rated measuring ranges with maximum 0.2% non-linearity, 4*M5 threaded holes located on both ends can be used for bolting between shafts, switches or mounting plates. Flange Torque Sensor FTG has no moving parts which makes it very durable and suitable for industrial environments, it’s applicable for torque measurement in both clockwise and counterclockwise direction. Each torque meter will come with a calibration certificate to guarantee the performance and quality.Typical applications for torque meter FTG are for example motor torque measurement, test bench applications, screw driver calibration and so on. Torque load cell FTG can be modified or customized to meet customers’ different requirements.

The technology behind our torque sensors are strain gages. These gages are arranged into a Wheatstone Bridge circuit, which converts the physical, mechanical torque into an electrical signal that can be filtered, displayed, and recorded for further processing. This very accurate radiometric electrical signal is proportional to the applied mechanical force. They are two types of torque transducers at Forsentek, reaction type and rotary type. Model FTG is a reaction type torque sensor which works by measuring the reaction force generated by an object that is creating torque. It measures this torque by being in line with an object generating or acted on by torque such as a motor and its static mounts. These types of torque sensors are not intended to rotate. They can under controlled circumstances be rotated over a small range or can be used with rotating shafts that pass through the middle of our through-hole reaction torque sensors. The output range of torque cell FTG is normally between -25mV...+25mV, a signal amplifier can be used to convert mV signal into ±5V,±10V,0-5V,0-10V or 4-20mA output for easy data acquisition.Taking flange torque sensor FTG-100Nm working with amplifier FSC(-10-10V)-24V for example, the torque-voltage relationship will be 0-100N*m in clockwise direction VS 0-10V output, 0-100N-m in counterclockwise direction VS 0-(-10V) output, 1V voltage corresponds to 1N*m torque in clockwise direction, -5V voltage corresponds to 5N*m torque in anticlockwise direction, and so on.
