Dala A2 series offers advanced control of AC induction motors for on-vehicle traction drive duties, providing vehicle developers with a highly cost-effective portfolio of power, capability, and functionality.
The A2 series is equipped with multiple patented techniques that extend the life of built-in relays and MOSFET units, achieving higher reliability.

 

Features:

Full Featured

  1. Offers a wide working frequency range of 0 to 300Hz.
  2. Capable of delivering 300A output at system voltages ranging from 48V to 72V. These ratings are true 2-minute Arms ratings, not short-duration 'boost' ratings.
  3. Supports regeneration braking, SOC algorithm, magnetic eddy current brake control, emergency stop-and-reverse motor control, and anti-sliding slope.
  4. The Indirect Field Orientation (IFO) Vector Control algorithm generates maximum torque and efficiency across the entire speed range.
  5. Enables quick and easy motor characterization without removal from the vehicle. A2 series controllers are fully compatible with any brand of AC motor.
  6. Includes auto temperature compensation and remote calibration.
  7. Utilizes Advanced Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) techniques for low motor harmonics, low torque ripple, and minimized heating losses, resulting in high efficiency.

  1. The insulated metal substrate power base provides superior heat transfer for increased reliability.
  2. Patented shoot-through guide architectural improvements enhance shoot-through capability and reliability.
  3. Dual microprocessor architecture ensures the highest possible level of functional safety performance.

  5. Offers short circuit protection on all output drivers.
  6. Comprehensive fault detection function supports over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, overheating, and reverse polarity protection.
