Arc welding robot servo motor introduction

 

The servo motor is usually installed at the joint of the welding robot as its drive system, that is, the more joints, the higher the flexibility and precision of the welding robot, and the more servo motors that need to be used.

As the driving system of the welding robot, the servo system must have a high sensitivity so that it can respond quickly. At the same time, in the case of driving the load, the starting torque of the servo motor of the welding robot is required to be large, and the moment of inertia is small.

In addition, the continuity and linearity of the servo motor control characteristics are also required, so that the rotation speed of the motor can be continuously changed with the change of the control signal to meet different operation requirements. Since it is used in welding robots, servo motors can withstand harsh operating conditions and can perform very frequent forward and reverse and acceleration and deceleration operations.

For the servo motor of the welding robot, the core technology is a high - precision encoder, and the connector is miniaturized and densified.
