WCu Copper Tungsten Copper Alloy rod with 10 wt.% Cu
Tungsten Copper :
Tungsten-Copper alloy is the composite of Tungsten and Copper. It
is used widely in such industries as engine, electrical power,
electron, metallurgy, spaceflight and aviation. Using CIP
formation, sintered tungsten skeleton and infiltrating copper
(silver) technology, large size and special shape products of
tungsten-copper (silver) composites with 6-90 percent of copper are
produced, such as electric contacts, electrode, refractory parts,
heat sinks and parts of rocket, We can also produce sheet material,
tubing, plate and other small products by mould pressing, extrusion
pressing and MIM.
Application:
They are extensively used as thermal mounting plates, chip carriers, tungsten copper flanges, and frames for RF, light emitting diodes and detectors, laser diode packages like pulse, single emitter, bars and complex carriers for optoelectronics amplifiers, receivers, transmitters, tunable lasers, etc.
Advantages:
1. High thermal conductivity
2. Excellent hermeticity
3. Excellent flatness, surface finish, and size control
4. Semi-finished or finished (Ni/Au plated) products available
5. Low porosity
