1. Hinged Bellows Expansion Joints

Single Hinged Bellows Expansion Joint

Comprising a single bellows along with a pin, hinge plates, riser plates,and other structural components.This type of expansion joint absorbs angular displacement through its change in angle. The thrust and pressure of the single hinged bellows expansion joint are borne by the hinge, which ensures that the expansion joint cannot absorb axial motion and protects the metal bellows from torsion. Typically, two or more units are used in combination, with their compensating capacity proportional to the distance.

2. Universal Hinged Expansion Joint

Comprising two bellows connected by a intermediate pipe, along with a pin, hinge plates,riser plates,and other structural components.This expansion joint absorbs lateral and angular displacement within a plane while withstanding pressure thrust from the bellows,so that the pressure is not transmitted to fixed points and guide rails in the pipeline system.The hinge ensures that the expansion joint cannot absorb axial motion and is used to protect the metal bellows from torsion. 3. Universal Gimbal Expansion Joint

Consisting of two bellows connected by a connecting pipe and a system of double circular gimbal, this expansion joint can absorb significant lateral movements in any plane and angular movements in any direction. The gimbal can be circular or square. For circular gimbal,their torque should be considered, while for square ones, instability due to bending should be taken into account. Due to the gimbal, the pin, and hinge plates' ability to withstand pressure thrust and other additional external forces, the expansion joint absorbs internal pressure thrust without exerting external force on the pipeline.Accordingly,simplifying pipeline support installation is feasible.
