Stainless Steel Pancake Load Cell 0-3ton For Tension Compression Force Measurement
Pancake Load Cell FCMU is made from stainless steel based on strain gauge technology intended for both tension and compression force measurement. Pancake Load Cell FCMU offers 0-50kg / 0-100kg / 0-200kg / 0-500kg / 0-1000kg / 0-2000kg / 0-3000kg seven rated measuring ranges. The low profile load cell FCMU incorporates an M16x1.5 threaded hole running through the center of the transducer which can be used to mount attachments such as load buttons or eye bolts to fit different applications. Spoke Type Load Cell FCMU utilizes 2000 ohms high resistance strain gauges to deliver better stability while consuming less power compared to traditional loadcells with 350 ohms or 700 ohms resistance. Stainless steel load cell FCMU is applicable for both static and dynamic force measurement. You may find pancake load cell FCMu suitable for force measurement in injection-molding machines, press machines and material testing equipment and so on. Model FCMU can also be modified or customzied as per requirements of our clients.

Force Measurement
Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer)
when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated
output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of stainless steel pancake load cell FCMU is
normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of shear web load cell FCMU is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of spoke type load cell FCMU is normaly within
-30mV...+30mV.
Example: Pancake Load Cell FCMU-1000kg with 2.0mV/V power by 10V
DC,the output range is -20mV...+205mV proportional to the applied
load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
The mV output from the loadcell transducer sometimes cannot be
recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal
conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into
0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Compression Load Cell FCMU-500kg working with 0-10V
amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-500kg compressive
load VS 0-10V output,0V output corresponds to 0kg, 1V output
corresponds to 50kgf compression load, 5V output corresponds to
250kgf load, and so on.
