Advantage of conical grinder
A. The degree of grinding is relatively uniform and the coffee
subdivision is relatively reduced
The conical cutter is placed at the bottom of the bean-grinding
machine, and then it is combined with the outer ring cutter to
grind. After the coffee beans fall from the top, the coffee beans
will be pulled down with the conical cutter circling, thus
producing the grinding action. Because of the top-to-bottom
relationship, compared with the flat knife grinder, the number of
collisions between particles will be reduced a lot. Therefore, the
proportion of fine powder produced by the taper knife will be much
less than that of the flat knife, and the uniformity of coffee
grinding will be greatly improved.
B. The bad taste is reduced
Because of its granular shape, the xylem absorbs less water even
after a longer extraction time, and is less prone to produce
impurity and astringency.
