Friction accumulation conveyor

 

Friction accumulation conveyor is a new type of conveying equipment with international advanced level. The friction system has changed the traditional method of relying on the chain as the transmission medium, and uses the friction force between the power device (friction wheel) and the co-construction bearing medium (trolley) to complete the conveyance of the workpiece. Compared with the traditional chain conveyor, the friction accumulation conveyor has the advantages of short cycle, strong flexibility and high environmental protection. The friction system is combined with special equipment such as elevators, transfer machines, stoppers, and turnouts, and is controlled by an advanced computerized intelligent electronic control system, which can accurately complete the functions of conveying, positioning, lifting, transferring, loading and unloading of workpieces.

 

 

Friction Conveyor (FDS) is a form of conveying that uses friction to drive objects to be conveyed. The application of friction conveyors in car factories has also seen a variety of novel structural application forms. Comparison with accumulation chain and skid system

 

1) High space utilization

 

Because no chain is used, there is no empty return chain, so the plane space of the factory building can be fully utilized. ~

The accumulation chain has an empty return chain, and the utilization rate of the workshop is low.

 

2) The line layout is simple

 

The friction line layout is simple. The track layout system of the friction line is simple, and there are no wiring problems such as return empty chains.

The layout of the skid line is complicated, and it needs to be supported by auxiliary equipment such as jacking roller bed, chain transfer, rail transfer and so on.

The layout of the back-to-empty chain must be considered when wiring the accumulation chain.

 

3) Low noise

 

There is no noise caused by the impact of the friction line during operation. However, the impact noise of the accumulator chain in operation is large, especially when the conveyor line speed is 12-18 m/min, the noise is relatively large, which affects the working environment of workers.

 

4) High conveying speed

 

The conveying speed of the friction line can be selected according to the process beat within the line speed range of 0~30 m/min. However, the conveying speed of the accumulation chain can only be within the linear speed range of 0~18m/min. Friction lines are more suitable for large-scale production of steel rings in fast-paced depots.

 

Due to the fast conveying speed of the friction line, compared with the product chain, it can save the total number of trolleys or spreaders under the same premise of producing steel rings.

 

5) Low energy consumption

 

The general power of the motor in each driving device of the friction line is 0.1~0.25Kw. Since the relay operation mode is adopted, all motors do not need to run at the same time, so the energy consumption is low.

Because the product and release chain adopts the continuous operation mode of the whole line, no matter how many conveying products are in operation, the high-power motor needs to run continuously, so the energy consumption is relatively high.

 

Comprehensively considering the use of friction lines and accumulation chains can save 30% of energy consumption.

 

6) It is beneficial to protect

 

Because the accumulation chain is driven by a chain, the chain produces iron dust during the transmission process with the sprocket and the train group, which pollutes the workshop environment and affects the product quality. The friction wheel of the friction line is made of polyurethane rubber. During operation, no iron dust and noise will be generated when driving between the friction wheel and the friction rod of the train set, and will not pollute the production environment, which is conducive to environmental protection.

 

Because of the chainless structure, no oil lubrication is required, and the conveyed goods are above the train group, so it will not cause pollution to the workshop and conveyed goods, which is beneficial to improve product quality. The accumulation chain is transported by chain, and the chain needs to be lubricated. Oil droplets and dust generated by wear between the chain, carriage, trolley and track will fall down, thereby polluting the workshop environment and conveying goods, which is not conducive to the improvement of product quality.

 

7) Installability of equipment

The equipment is installed on the platform, which is convenient and fast, which can improve the quality of equipment installation and ensure the safety of the installers.

The high-altitude operation of the product and release chain is difficult to install, and the equipment installation period is long, which is not conducive to the improvement of the quality of equipment installation. 8) flexible

The production line has good flexibility. When the equipment needs to be modified and adjusted, it can be easily carried out, and the impact on the existing equipment is small. When the new and old equipment are docked, the production line shutdown time is short.

 

The product chain production line has poor flexibility, and the work is more complicated when it needs to be transformed, which has a great impact on the original production line and takes a long time to stop production.

 

9) Maintainability

The maintenance of the equipment is convenient, the safety of the maintenance personnel is guaranteed, and the troubleshooting time is short. Even if there is a problem with a certain driver, it will not affect the operation of other line segments, and will not cause the entire line to stop running. It is also possible to manually push the cart through the fault point while maintaining it, so as not to affect production.

 

The maintenance of product chain equipment needs to be carried out at high altitude, which has poor safety, small working space and difficult operation. When a drive fails or a chain is stuck at a certain point, the entire line will stop running, and it will take a relatively long time to temporarily deal with the production and solve the fault without manual carts.

 

Since each drive has a detection point, the PLC can accurately determine the location of the fault point when a fault occurs, thereby reducing the troubleshooting time.

 

Due to the small number of detection points in the product and release chain, when a fault occurs, it may take a long time to determine the fault point, especially when the chain is stuck, it needs to be checked section by section along the line

The mechanical structure of the equipment is relatively simple, and the failure rate is lower than that of ordinary conveying equipment.

 

10) Investment cost

As far as the conveying equipment is concerned, the investment of the friction type is relatively high. If the investment factors such as factory buildings and steel structures are considered, the overall investment will be similar to that of the product chain.
