Introduction
There are many reasons for copper wire blackening and oxidation:
(1) The area of wire drawing emulsion oil pool is small, the return
pipeline is short and sealed, resulting in slow heat dissipation
and high emulsion oil temperature.
(2) It is caused by copper wire annealing. First, the cooling water
for continuous pulling and retreating is generally tap water and
groundwater. Because the water quality is different from place to
place, the pH value of water quality in some areas is low, only 5.5
~ 5.0 (normally 7.0 ~ 7.5). The antioxidant oil film in the
original emulsion is cleaned, and the annealed copper wire is easy
to oxidize and blacken; Second, the finished copper wire pulled by
an ordinary wire drawing machine is annealed on another annealing
line, and the cooling water does not use antioxidants. The
anti-oxidation time is short, and oxidation blackening will soon
occur.
(3) Some old factories still use the annealing cylinder for
annealing, which will also cause oxidation and blackening for the
following reasons: first, the nuts of the annealing cylinder are
not tightened, and there is air leakage after flushing carbon
dioxide or high-purity nitrogen; Second, the temperature of the
copper wire out of the cylinder is too high, exceeding 30 ℃; Third,
the maintenance of wire drawing emulsion is not enough and the pH
value is too low; These conditions are common in summer when the
temperature is high. The emulsion will be lost if it is used
continuously. When the temperature is high, the loss will be
faster. If new crude oil is not supplemented in time, the fat
content is very small. In addition, the temperature of the emulsion
may exceed 45 ℃, which is easy to cause oxidation and blackening.
(4) another case is that because of the widespread use of high
speed wire drawing at present, the speed is increased, the relative
heat dissipation time is reduced, and the oxidation brings some
space and time. Therefore, it is suggested that manufacturers pay
more attention to the fat content of the emulsion, the proper use
of temperature, pH value, etc. in the spring, the bacteria in the
Yellow mildew season are fast propagating, and they can use
bactericidal and mildew proof agents. Antioxidants can be used in
summer to solve the problems of oxidation and blackening.
