Under pressure, raw material liquid flows inside or outside the membrane, small molecular substances (or liquids) pass through the membrane, and large molecular substances (or solids) are trapped by the membrane, so as to achieve the purpose of separation, concentration, purification and environmental protection. The surface of the flat ceramic membrane is densely covered with microholes, and the permeability varies according to the different molecular diameters of permeable substances within a certain membrane aperture range. The pressure difference on both sides of the membrane is the driving force, and the membrane is the filtration medium. Under a certain pressure, when the material liquid flows through the membrane surface, only water, inorganic salts and small molecular substances are allowed to pass through the membrane. It prevents the passage of macromolecular substances such as suspended matter, glue and microorganisms in the water.

Ceramic membrane is an asymmetric membrane formed by the treatment of inorganic ceramic materials. Ceramic membranes are generally divided into two types, mainly: tubular ceramic membranes and flat ceramic membranes. Among them, the tubular ceramic membrane is usually densely covered with micropores. Under the action of pressure, the raw material liquid will also flow inside and outside the membrane tube. In this way, small molecular substances can better penetrate the membrane, while larger molecular substances will be trapped by the membrane, so as to better achieve the result of separating large and small molecules and achieving the purpose of concentration. And the effect is remarkable.

This method can also achieve more efficient purposes in terms of purification and environmental protection. The role of ceramic membrane process in sewage treatment

 

Ceramic membrane filtration does not need to add chemical agents and can better remove impurities in the water, intercept bacteria and germs in the water, etc., fully ensuring the safety of drinking water. Ceramic membrane can well reduce the turbidity coefficient of water and the content of organic matter, so that the content of heavy metals can be reduced. It is also an important function for sewage treatment.
