Toughened glass refrigerator door panels
Toughened glass is generally used for preparing oven door, oven
control panel, fridge glass door, fridge/ refrigerator/ freezer
shelf, dish-washing machine panel, washing machine lid, switch
panel etc. The tempered glass is used in preparing control panels
for rich home appliances. The toughened glass is also used for
dishwasher door, stove panel, electronic products panel, wine
cabinet door, and for electronic weighing scale the toughened glass
is used.
Toughened glass is thermally stronger than the normal glass. The
glass undergoes intense stress due to which, the strength of glass
increases. This glass is made through thermal tempering process
where the annealed glass is heated at or above 720 degrees and soon
after it reaches the heating point, cooling process is performed.
The glass thus becomes strong and stressed.
Method of making tempered glass for refrigerator door panels
Tempered glass is a type of glass with even compressive stress on
the surface which is made by heating float glass to nearly
softening point and then cooling it down rapidly by air. During the
instant cooling process, the exterior of glass is solidified due to
rapid cooling while the interior of the glass is cooled down
relatively slowly. The process will bring the glass surface
compressive stress and the interior tensile stress which can
improve the mechanical strength of glass by germination and result
in good thermal stability.
Quality Inspection process
1, When the first 100 pieces of finished products are packed, the
quality inspector shall inspect them at the inspection point of
finished products.
2, The product will be inspected two times casually every shift.
3, Before the product is packaged or after the finished product is
repaired, the quality inspector shall inspect it at the finished
product inspection point.
4, After the product is packaged, the quality inspector will
inspect it at the finished product inspection point.
5, If the finished product is stored for more than one month or for
other special reasons, the warehouse administrator shall inform the
quality inspector on duty to inspect it at the delivery site
(visual inspection according to the standard and packaging scheme
is in conformity).
