Tempered Glass Manufacturing Process
Step 1 Float glass is cut to the desired size.
Step 2 Prior to the tempering process, the cut glass is checked for
flaws such as cracks, bubbles, and inclusions. The presence of
these imperfections can cause breakage during the tempering
process.
Step 3 The glass is washed to remove dust, dirt, and debris that
could interfere with the thermal tempering process.
Step 4 After it has been cut, checked for flaws, and washed, the
glass travels either in batches or in a continuous feed through a
furnace, where it is heated at temperatures over 600 degrees
Celsius.
Step 5 After the heating process, the scorching piece of glass
undergoes a cooling process. During this process, the glass
receives high-pressure blasts of cold air from varying angles for
about three to 10 seconds. The process, called “quenching,” cools
down the surface of the glass much faster than it does the center.
Because of this, the interior zone of the glass stays in tension
while the surface goes into compression. This combination of
competitive stresses is what makes tempered glass so strong.
Tempered Glass Shelves Edges
We create custom shelves out of glass at whatever length, depth,
and thickness you need. Most of the times these shelves have
exposed edges, giving you the option of adding another level of
detail to better reflect your personal style. Our seamed edge comes
standard with your order. If the edge is going to show, consider a
rounded (pencil) or flat edge, as preferred by many as it gives a
more finished look when edges are visible.
After choosing whether or not you want a rounded or flat edge, you
get to choose between a polish or grind. A polish gives a shiny and
glossy finish, while a grind provides a frosted matte finish. This
small detail can impact the overall effect you want to create in
your space.

Packaging Details of refrigerator door panels
1.Carton or wooden crates
2.Plastic protector of edge and corner
3.Meet customer's special requirement
Printing test for refrigerator door panels
2. Frontal hardness, The hardness of the paint layer can be
measured by 2H pencil, and the surface should be free of skin
damage and scratch marks after the test.
3. Boiling water resistance, Under normal temperature and pressure,
the test piece is completely immersed in boiling water for 2 h,
then put into tap water to cool for 5 min, and then take out the
observation sample. There should be no change in the front and back
of the sample after the experiment.
4. Low temperature resistance, The sample was placed at - 40 ± 2 ℃
for 24h and recovered to room temperature. Take out the observation
sample. After the test, there should be no separation between the
front and back sides of the sample
5. High temperature resistance, Put the sample in a constant
temperature box of 120 ± 10 ℃ for 3 h, and take out the observation
sample. There should be no change in the front and back of the
sample after the test.
