The engine rated power and rated fuel consumption rate is based on ISO3046-1 stipulated standard ambient conditions: ambient temperature 25℃, atmospheric pressure 100kPa and humidity 30%.
Power Definition and Operation Conditions for 1200kW Soundproof Natural Gas Generator
If natural gas is not as stipulated, there will be power loss for engine and life time of engine will be effected. Extra heat value won’t improve engine power. However, limited heat value will cause loss of engine power. If heat value is less than 28MJ/m³ and CH4 content is lower than 60%, the engines can’t work properly.
