Through Hole Low Profile Torque Sensor FTHC is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology
to deliver maximum 0.3% non-linearity of the rated output, reaction
torque transducer FTHC offers 0-5Nm / 0-10Nm / 0-20Nm / 0-30Nm
/ 0-40Nm five rated measuring ranges to choose from. Low profile
design,through hole structure,flange to flange mounting,working
with servo or stepper motor, torquemeter FTHC can help make
robot joint motion control more smoother. Besides the standard

A Reaction Torque Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical torque into mV signal proportional to the applied torque.The acting torsion causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the moment can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.
Torque sensor output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load /
Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of torque meter is normally within
-45mV...+45mV.
Example one: Low Profile Torque Sensor FTHC-10NM with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC, the
output range is -5mV...+5mV (Clockwise & anticlockwise torque
measurement).
Example two: Through Hole Torque Sensor FTHC-30NM with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC, the output
range is -10mV...+10mV (Clockwise & anticlockwise torque
measurement).
Torque transducer + Signal amplifier:
The function of signal amplifier is to convert mV signal into
0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Torque cell FTHC-20NM working with amplifier
FSC(-10-10V)-24V, the torque-voltage relationship will be 0-20Nm
torque in clockwise direction VS 0-10V output,0-20Nm torque in CCW
direction VS 0-(-10V) output.
