This DC12V ATIKER Type Magnetic Coil is an important component of automgas systems LPG tanks. LPG is the abbreviation of liquefied petroleum gas. When the fuel transfer switch is turned to the LPG position, the gasoline solenoid valve is de-energized (cut off for supply), the LPG solenoid valve is energized, the LPG liquid comes out of the gas storage tank, and the LPG solenoid valve reaches the evaporation pressure regulation. After being depressurized, the vaporization becomes a gas close to atmospheric pressure to supply air to the engine. The function of the LPG solenoid valve is to switch the gasoline or LPG on or off during fuel switching, which means that the LPG solenoid valve is an electromagnetic switch.

Diagnosis and elimination of common faults in dual fuel car LPG system
The main faults of the system appear in the integrated valve, gasoline solenoid valve, LPG solenoid valve, evaporating regulator, starting (idle) solenoid valve and other components. Now we briefly introduce several major faults:


(1) Fault phenomenon: the gas tank can not be charged into LPG
Reason: The limit valve on the integrated valve floats off. Under the action of the spring, the float rod rises to the highest position and closes the LPG gas filling port, so that the system cannot be filled with LPG gas.


Solution: Replace the charge-limiting valve float or the integrated valve assembly.


(2) Fault phenomenon: After the LPG is added beyond the rated capacity, the integrated valve is not limited.
Reason: When the FPg liquid in the float valve chamber of the integrated valve enters the LPG liquid, the float rod is deformed or the float rod is detached, the spring force of the limit charge valve is not enough to overcome the weight of the float, and the float cannot close the inflation port, resulting in no charge.


Solution: Replace the integrated valve or float.


{3) Fault phenomenon: no idle speed, high speed.
Cause: When the idle solenoid valve body strainer is blocked or the coil is open, the engine will not idle.


Solution: Clean the idle valve body filter or replace the solenoid valve.


(4) Fault phenomenon: When burning LPG, the fuel gauge does not display the liquid level (there is gas in the gas tank).
Reason: Hall-type liquid level sensor line break, float deformation, LPG liquid entering the float, deformation of the drive tooth fan will cause this kind of failure.

 

Solution: Check the line, check the integrated valve and replace if necessary.


(5) Fault phenomenon: When burning gasoline, the engine cannot be started.
Reason: The gasoline solenoid valve is fixed on the vehicle body to realize the grounding. When the solenoid valve is disconnected from the vehicle body or the line is broken, the solenoid valve cannot work, and the fuel can not be supplied to the carburetor, and the engine cannot be started.


Solution: Re-fix the solenoid valve or repair the line.


(6) Fault phenomenon: When the LPG is switched, the engine will be turned off after 3 seconds of running.
Cause: The inlet solenoid valve and the idle solenoid valve are not open.


Solution: Repair or replace the safety switch, inlet solenoid valve or idle solenoid valve.
