The meaning of CR mark
The overall image of the CR logo is a pictographic evolution of the
letter R nested within the letter C, presenting a full circle that
sets off a vivid robot image. The letter C is the first letter of
China and Certification, and R is the first letter of Robot. The
logo can be interpreted as Robot Certification or China Robot
Certification. It expresses that with the vigorous development of
the robot industry and the continuous expansion of application
fields, quality issues such as robot safety and reliability have
attracted widespread public attention.
Experts say the circular symbol represents protection and infinity, perfection and completeness. Smart robots move freely in a circle, which represents that the robot industry is full of unlimited energy and power under the protection of certification. It also means that the industry is booming and the future will be perfect and harmonious.
The orange color of the CR logo is widely used in safety colors and has serious and professional qualities, implying that the influence and credibility of robot certification can be demonstrated. In the future, the "China Robot Certification (CR)" mark will be used as the unified mark of China's robot certification. Approved robot product certification agencies will uniformly use this mark for robot certification. This will help establish a unified image of China's robot certification. Easy to identify, publicize, adopt and promote.
In the process of using the logo, the name of the certification
agency is combined with the basic pattern to reflect the main
certification responsibility of the certification agency. The
attached letters represent the certification type: S represents
safety certification, E represents electromagnetic compatibility
certification, and E and S appear together to represent
comprehensive safety and electromagnetic compatibility
certification, which facilitates the judgment of the market and
customers.
CR certified product range
CR certification is applicable to electronic products in the form
of robots that can move autonomously and provide services according
to preset programs. As long as they belong to the robot product
category, CR certification can be carried out.
Robot definition
The national standard GB/T 12643-2013 defines service robots as: in
addition to industrial automation applications, robots that can
perform useful tasks for humans or equipment.
application process
1. The enterprise applies to the NTEK testing agency (fill in the
corresponding application form)

Does the robot need CR certification or CCC certification in China?
Robot CR certification is currently a non-compulsory certification,
and CCC certification is a domestic compulsory certification. If
you want to sell it domestically, you need CCC certification,
provided that the product is in the 3C catalog. It should be
pointed out that many robot products currently apply for CCC
certification according to the CCC product certification scope of
Category 08 audio and video equipment, Category 09 information
technology equipment, and Category 16 telecommunications terminal
equipment. In addition, according to the explanation of document
No. TC03-2019-01 by the China Quality Certification Center of the
Secretariat of the TC03 Technical Expert Group of the National
Certification and Accreditation Administration, for those who can
move autonomously according to preset programs and provide services
such as: mobile guidance, transmission, cleaning, etc. Functional
electronic products in the form of robots (such as welcome robots,
food delivery robots, etc.) do not fall into categories 08, 09, and
16 of the mandatory products.
