Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-B4512-C0DC SFP transceiver is a high performance, cost effective module supporting data rate of 1.25Gbps and 120km transmission distance with SMF. The transceiver consists of five sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 1490nm FP laser (the 1550nm DFB laser)and the PIN/TIA.

This transceiver meets the Small Form Pluggable (SFP) industry standard package utilizing an integral LC-Bi-dirictional optical interface connector. This bi-directional unit must be used with another transceiver or network appliance of complementing wavelengths.An enhanced Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface has been incorporated into the transceiver that allows real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C).

The SFP BX120 transceivers satisfy class I laser safety requirements, and are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement and SFF-8472 digital diagnostics functions.
