thread insert spark plug screw thread inserts are manufactured from 18-8 round stainless steel wire formed into a 60° diamond-shaped wire. This cold-worked wire, which has a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI, is wound into a helical coil with a driving tang and notch to remove the tang after the insert is screwed into the thread insert tapped hole.

Classification

It is divided into two types: ordinary type and locking type, which can be screwed into threaded holes of metal or non-metal materials to form high-strength, wear-resistant, high-temperature, shock-resistant, impact-resistant, and corrosion-resistant standard M, MJ Thread, and can disperse the stress, protect the thread of the base body, can comprehensively improve the performance of the screw hole, and prolong the service life of the machine part.
