RV Reduction Gear working principle


The RV drive is a new type of transmission developed on the basis of cycloidal pinwheel drives.
The RV reducer consists of an involute cylindrical gear planetary reduction mechanism and a cycloidal pinion planetary reduction mechanism.
The involute planetary gear is integrated with the crankshaft as an input to the cycloidal pinion drive section.
The crankshaft drives the cycloidal wheel for eccentric motion.
The crank rotates clockwise clockwise for 1 week and the cycloidal wheel moves 1 tooth counterclockwise.
The core components of the RV reducer are the pin housing, the crank shaft and the cycloidal wheel.

RV Reduction Gear backlash and empty trip

  • Hysteresis curve: The input end is fixed, and the output end applies torque to obtain the corresponding relationship between torque and torsion angle.
  • Backlash: On the hysteresis curve, the torque is at the "zero" twist angle.
  • Empty space: On the hysteresis curve, the torque is the torsion angle at " ± 3 % rated torque".

RV Reduction Gear noise

 

The gear unit is operated at rated speed with a noise of  < 75 dB.
The noise level is related to installation accuracy, lubrication, temperature, load and other factors.

 

RV Reduction Gear lifetime

  • The gear unit is operated at rated conditions with a life of  > 6000 hours.
  • It is not advisable to operate for longer than the rated speed or rated torque, otherwise the life will be reduced.
  • To ensure the accuracy and longevity of the gear unit, please replace the grease after every 2000 hours of operation.

 

RV Reduction Geartorque

 

RV Reduction Gear working torque maximum: refers to the maximum torque of the reducer during start, steady operation and stop.

Typically, the starting and stopping torque is approximately 2.5 times the rated torque;
The torque during steady operation is lower than the rated torque.


RV Reduction Gear maximum impact torque: refers to the maximum torque that the reducer can withstand when subjected to external shock or emergency stop.
Note that the impact torque should be avoided as much as possible, otherwise the performance of the reducer will decrease.

 

RV Reduction Gear bending moment

 

 

RV Reduction Gear maximum working moment: refers to the maximum bending moment of the reducer during start - up, stable operation and stop.
The working bending moment is borne by the deep groove ball bearing inside the reducer, and the speed reducer should not exceed its maximum value when it is running.

RV Reduction Gear  maximum impact moment: refers to the maximum bending moment that the reducer can withstand when subjected to external impact or emergency stop.
Note that the impact bending moment should be avoided as much as possible, otherwise the performance of the reducer will decrease.
