Tinplate, also known as tin-coated steel or tin-plated steel, is a type of thin steel sheet that has been coated with a thin layer of tin on both sides. It is widely used in various industries due to its desirable properties and versatility.
The steel used in tinplate production is typically low-carbon steel, which is chosen for its excellent formability and strength.
