We customized a 100LPH seawater desalination equipment for Saudi customers. Feedwater salinity (TDS) is up to 50000 ppm. This equipment mainly consists of a purification process from a water supply pump to a quartz sand filter, a PP filter element to a membrane. 1. Product Description / RO Water Treatment System

The reverse osmosis system uses well water, river water, etc. as raw water, and the water is treated by pre-filter (optional water softener) and reverse osmosis membrane.
It can remove particles, colloids, organic impurities, heavy metal ions, bacteria, viruses, and 99% of dissolved salts in water.

The desalination rate of the whole system can reach 96%-99%, so that the conductivity of the produced water is less than 10 us/cm. Concentrated water will not pollute the environment.

The second stage reverse osmosis system use the first stage reverse osmosis system output water as raw water to make water to be more pure. Normally output water conductivity<2 us/cm.

Machine Details:

Water Treatment Plant Designs

Pre-chlorination : This is made to disinfect the raw water from any infections.
First Filtration: By the pressure Sand filters to remove Turbidity and Suspended solids.
De-chlorination dosing: To remove the remaining Chlorine after the pressure sand filter.
Antiscalent dosing: It is very important to prevent Calcium Sulfate from scaling.
Acid dosing: It is very important to prevent calcium carbonate from scaling by Sulfuric acid 98%.
Second filtration: It is by the cartridge filter (5micron) is important to remove any particles exceed 5 micron size.
Feeding water High TDS raw water will pass through the semi permeable membrane under the high pressure, after boosting with high pressure (Osmotic Pressure ) approx 12 – 16 bar the membrane output water will treated and reduce to the required TDS .
Adjusting PH value by Sodium hydroxide 49%
Post chlorination dosing for disinfection by Sodium hydrochloride 12%

Component / RO Water Treatment System
There are several kinds of consumables you need to replace regularly.
a. Quartz sand: replaced about every 15 months. 50kg/bag
b. Activated carbon: replaced about every 15 months. 25kg/bag
c. Resin: replaced about every 15 months. 25L/bag
d. PP Filter cartridge: replaced about every 1 month
e. Ro membrane: replaced about every 2 year.
We suggest you buy 1- 2 years of PP filter cartridges together with machine. Because these PP filter cartridges need to replace every month.
