The base tube material is Monel400. Then the fin strip is wound into a machined groove and securely locked into place by back filling with base tube, which ensuring that maximum heat transfer is maintained at high tube metal temperatures. Monel400 is a corrosion-resistant alloy. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance. It generally doesn’t produce stress corrosion cracks and has good cutting performance. After finning services, the alloy tube with GType fins can have better heat transfer efficiency than normal straight base tube.
