Quick Details:

 

Tube OD: min 16mm, max 219.1mm (8'').

Tube length: max. 25000 mm

Fin Height: Maximum 50 mm

Fin thickness: generally 0.2mm ~3.0mm

Fin Pitch: Minimum 2.3mm (11 FPI) or as per customer's requirement


Manufacturing Process:

 

Aluminium finned strips are tension wound and placed into grooves cut in the tube to a depth of approximately 0.4mm.


Flat end surface protection:

 

The ends of the grooved G-fin tubes shall be galvanised or aluminised by means of an arc spray system.


Acceptance Criteria:

 

API Standard 661 (for air-cooled heat exchangers in general refineries) or Delivery Conditions (TDC).


Accessories:

 

Tube support boxes, clamps or spacer boxes (materials: aluminium, zinc and stainless steel).


Delivery conditions:

 

G-Fin embedded finned tubes are supplied with square-cut, burr-free tube ends, internally dry and purged, and varnished at both ends.

Desiccant is also placed in each package for transport on the continent.
