Product Details

304 Stainless Plate offers good corrosion resistance to many chemicals as well as industrial atmospheres and marine environments. 304 Stainless Plate may become slightly magnetic when worked and is not heat treatable.

Applications: sanitary dairy, beverage and food product handling and processing, hospital equipment, marine hardware, kitchen appliances, back splashes, etc.
Workability: Easy to Weld, Cut, Form and Machine with proper equipment

Compared to 304 stainless steel, the 316 stainless steel plate presents more corrosion resistance and outstanding forming and welding charatersitics. thus it can be brake or roll formed into numerous types of parts for applications in the industrial, architectural, and transportation fields. Additionally, stainless steel alloy 316 does not require post-weld annealing when welding thin sections.
