Difference Between Grade 304 And 316
First, although 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel do not have much difference in appearance, friends can distinguish the difference between them from the aspect of composition. 316 stainless steel contains Mo, which makes 316 stainless steel much better than 304 stainless steel in high temperature resistance. Second, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel also have obvious differences in brand. For example, the brand of 304 stainless steel is 0Cr18Ni9, while that of 316 stainless steel is 0Cr17Ni12Mo2. When purchasing, you can obviously see the difference between the two from the parameters, which is much simpler than the difference from the shape.
Thirdly, the composition of 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel is also different. 316 stainless steel reduces the composition of Cr, improves the composition of Ni, and enhances its corrosion resistance.
