Company Profile
The Med Accessories oximetry sensors are specifically designed for
the continuous noninvasive monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation
and pulse rate. They are fully compatible replacement sensors that
can be used with major brands of pulse oximeters.
Med Accessories offers reusable sensors for four categories of
patients:
Adult: These sensors are suitable for patients weighing greater
than 30 kg.
Pediatric: Designed for patients weighing between 10-50 kg.
Infant: Intended for patients weighing between 3-20 kg.
Neonatal/Adult: These sensors are suitable for patients weighing
less than 3 kg or greater than 40 kg.
It's important to select the appropriate sensor model number that
matches the specifications of your specific pulse oximeter. Med
Accessories ensures that their SpO2 sensors are designed to meet
the requirements of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
By selecting the correct Med Accessories sensor model for your
pulse oximeter, you can ensure compatibility and accurate
monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation and pulse rate.
Reminder
Compatibility: Ensure that the SpO2 sensor connector is compatible with your patient monitor socket. Different patient monitors may have different types of connectors, such as 5-pin or 6-pin connectors. Verify that the sensor connector matches the socket on your specific patient monitor.
Patient Terminal Type: Determine whether you require a snap or clip type of patient terminal for the SpO2 sensor. Some sensors have snap-style connectors that attach easily to the patient's finger or earlobe, while others use clip-style connectors that provide a secure grip on the patient's finger. Choose the appropriate terminal type based on your preference and the patient's comfort.
Patient Population: Confirm that the SpO2 sensor is suitable for the intended patient population. Sensors are designed for different age groups, such as adults or neonates. Ensure that you select a sensor specifically designed for the age group of the patient you are monitoring.
