5000 series aluminum rod represents 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 series aluminum rod
belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum rod series, the
main element is magnesium, the magnesium content is between 3-5%.
Also known as aluminum magnesium alloy. The main characteristics
are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. Under
the same area, the weight of Al-Mg alloy is lower than other
series, and it is widely used in conventional industry.
6000 series aluminum rod represents 6061, 6082,6063, mainly contains magnesium and silicon
two elements, concentrated the advantages of 4000 series and 5000
series 6061 is a cold treatment aluminum forging products, suitable
for corrosion resistance, oxidation requirements of high
applications. Good usability, easy coating, good workability.
First, different definitions
1. T6 treatment: The state of artificial aging after solid solution
heat treatment.
2, T5 treatment: by high temperature molding process cooling, and
then artificial aging state.
Second, different applications
1. T6 Treatment: It is suitable for the products of artificial
aging after the solid solution heat treatment, no longer cold
processing (can be straightened and levelled, but does not affect
the mechanical property limit).
2, T5 treatment: suitable for cooling by high temperature molding
