According to the metal elements aluminum coil contains, aluminum coil can be divided into 9 major:
① 5000 series:Represents 5052.5005.5083.5A05 series. 5000 series aluminum plate belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum plate series, the main element is magnesium, magnesium content between 3-5%. Can also be called aluminum magnesium alloy. The main characteristics are low density, high tensile strength, high elongation. Commonly used in aviation, such as aircraft fuel tanks. It is also widely used in conventional industry. The processing technology is continuous casting and rolling, which belongs to the hot rolled aluminum plate series, so it can do deep oxidation processing.
② 6000 series:Representative 6061 mainly contains magnesium and silicon two elements, suitable for corrosion resistance, oxidation requirements of applications. Good usability, excellent interface features, easy coating, good processing. General features: Excellent interface characteristics, easy coating, high strength, good usability, strong corrosion resistance. Typical uses: Aircraft parts, camera parts, couplers, Marine accessories and hardware, electronic accessories and fittings, decorative or various hardware, hinge heads, magnetic heads, brake pistons, hydraulic pistons, electrical accessories, valves and valve parts.
③ 7000 series:Represents 7075 contains mainly zinc. Also belongs to aviation series, is aluminum magnesium zinc copper alloy, is a heat treatable alloy, belongs to super hard aluminum alloy, has good wear resistance, can ensure no trachoma, impurities. High thermal conductivity, can shorten the molding time, improve work efficiency, the main characteristic is high hardness. It is used in the manufacturing of high stress structural parts and molds requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
④ 8000 series:The more commonly used 8011 belongs to other series. To do the cap as the main function, but also used in the radiator, most applications for aluminum foil.
