1.  Description of Rotor energy recovery coaxial boosting device

This pressure exchanger device has been widely applied in high TDS seawater, waste water, landfill leachate RO treatment system. It adopts "Rotor energy recovery coaxial boosting technique" to realize energy recovery and pressure increase, it transfer the high pressure energy from the concentrate flow from reverse osmosis system to low pressure raw feed water, so the raw feed water pressure has been increased to high pressure, then pressure boosted by impeller pump to meet pressure requirement for seawater RO plant, it reduce raw water flow to high pressure pump, hence save energy consumption. This pressure exchanger device can help significantly reduce operation cost of seawater desalination RO plant, minizie the interconnecting piping, valves and instruments requirement, simiplize the high pressure piping design for energy recovery device, easily and space saving.

3. Configuration: electric motor, impeller boosting pump, and rotor pressure exchanger
3.1Rotor pressure exchanger: 
The rotor pressure exchanger take advantage of positive displacement theory: the low pressure raw water feed to pressure exchanger from one end, the high pressure concentrate after reverse osmosis feed to pressure exchanger from opposite end. The high pressure energy is transfered from high pressurized concentrate flow to  low pressurized raw water flow inside the rotor chamber, then the high pressurized raw water will be out by high pressure concentrate flow, the concentrate flow pressure has been decreased and out by raw water. The pressure exchange efficiency is 95% or above, 1/3 higher then turbine machine. 
3.2 Impeller boosting pump
It consists of pump body, diversion plate, rotor impeller, vane. The boosting pump ensures continuous high pressure raw water output after energy recovery device.
