Pulse Jet Bag Filter

 

Since its inception in the 1950s, pulse bag filters have been widely used and continuously improved both domestically and internationally. They have made great progress in purifying dusty gases. Due to advanced dust removal technology and a significant increase in gas to cloth ratio, they have the characteristics of large processing air volume, small footprint, high purification efficiency, reliable operation, simple structure, and low maintenance. The dust removal efficiency can reach over 99%. It is a mature and relatively complete high-efficiency dust removal equipment.

 

 

Working principle

 

Dust containing gas enters the filter chamber through the ash hopper (or a wide open flange at the bottom), and coarser particles directly fall into the ash hopper or ash bin. The dust gas is filtered by the filter bag, and the dust remains on the surface of the filter bag. The clean gas is then transported to the clean air chamber through the bag mouth and discharged into the atmosphere by a fan. When the dust on the surface of the filter bag continues to increase, causing the equipment resistance to rise to the set value, the time relay (or micro differential pressure controller) outputs a signal, and the programmable controller starts working, Open the pulse valves one by one, allowing compressed air to spray and clean the filter bags through the nozzle, causing the filter bags to suddenly expand. Under the action of reverse airflow, the dust attached to the surface of the filter bags quickly detaches from the filter bags and falls into the ash hopper (or ash bin). The dust is discharged by the ash discharge valve. After all filter bags are sprayed and cleaned, the dust collector returns to normal operation.

 

When the pulse bag filter is working normally, the dusty gas enters the ash hopper through the air inlet. Due to the rapid expansion of the gas volume, some of the coarser dust particles fall into the ash hopper due to inertia or natural settling, while the rest of the dust particles rise with the airflow and enter the bag chamber. After being filtered by the filter bag, the dust particles are retained on the outside of the filter bag. The purified gas enters the upper box from the inside of the filter bag, and is then discharged into the atmosphere through the valve plate hole and exhaust port, So as to achieve the purpose of dust removal. As the filtration continues, the resistance of the dust collector also increases. When the resistance reaches a certain value, the dust removal controller sends a dust removal command, first closing the lifting valve plate and cutting off the filtered airflow; Then, the dust removal controller sends a signal to the pulse solenoid valve. As the pulse valve sends the high-pressure reverse airflow used for dust removal into the bag, the filter bag rapidly swells and produces strong shaking, causing the dust on the outside of the filter bag to shake off, achieving the purpose of dust removal. Due to the equipment being divided into several box areas, the above process is carried out box by box. While one box area is being cleaned, the remaining box areas are still working normally, ensuring the continuous and normal operation of the equipment. The key to being able to handle high concentration dust lies in the extremely short cleaning time required for this type of strong cleaning (spraying once only takes 0.1-0.2 seconds).

Therefore, the cleaning cycle is extended, reducing the energy consumption of cleaning, and the compressed air consumption can be greatly reduced. At the same time, the fatigue level of the filter bag and pulse valve is correspondingly reduced, thereby doubling the service life of the filter bag and valve plate.

 

3. Maintenance and bag replacement can be carried out in separate rooms without stopping the system fan and under normal operating conditions of the system. The opening of the filter bag adopts an elastic expansion ring, which has good sealing performance and is firm and reliable. The filter bag keel adopts a polygonal shape, reducing the friction between the bag and the keel, extending the life of the bag, and making it easy to unload the bag.

 

4. Adopting the upper bag extraction method, when changing bags, the bag cage is pulled out, and the dirty bag is put into the lower ash hopper of the box, which is taken out from the manhole, improving the operating conditions for changing bags.

 

5. The box adopts an airtight design with good sealing performance. The inspection door is made of excellent sealing materials, and kerosene is used to detect leaks during the production process, resulting in a low air leakage rate.

 

6. The layout of the inlet and outlet air ducts is compact, with low airflow resistance.
