90/10 Dry Blended Polyetser Resin for TGIC Low Gloss Powder Coatings
◎Introduction
NH9001 are saturated carboxyl polyester resins for low gloss polyester/ TGIC powder coatings by a dry blending procedure with NH9508.
Depending on the application, a semi-gloss or matt powder coating is sometimes required. Extinction is to use a certain method to reduce the gloss of the surface of the coating film.
Dry-blended matting is mixing polyester resins with different curing speeds by the dry-blending method. Because the polyester resin with high reactivity is rapidly cured, the slow-curing resin of the continuous phase is hindered from leveling and reaction, and the final cured coating film is tarnished. Powder coatings prepared by the dry-blending matting method can avoid the use of matting agents and reduce the cost of coatings.
