95/5 Saturated Polyester Resin, HAA Polyester Resin with Good Anti-yellowing Performance
◎Introduction
NH-6586-2 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin designed for 95:5 Primid XL 552 powder coating to be cured at 180℃.
At present, the curing agents used in polyester powder coatings are mainly triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) and β-hydroxyalkylamide (HAA). However, the health problem of skin allergy caused by TGIC has attracted more and more attention, and the use of TGIC has been restricted or banned in many countries and regions due to the toxicity of genetic mutagenesis. Therefore, most people have turned their attention to the HAA curing agent. HAA curing agents have now developed rapidly and become the main curing agent for polyester powders.
