Neoprene (CR), also known as chlorobutyl rubber or neoprene latex, is a synthetic rubber, usually polymerized from chlorobutyl acrylate monomers. It has oil resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance and good ozone resistance, and is an excellent waterproof material. Neoprene is widely used in the manufacture of rubber products, such as rubber belts, rubber tubes, sealing rings, etc.
Disadvantage: Poor cold resistance, large specific gravity, relatively high cost, poor electrical insulation, easy to stick to rolling, easy to scorch and easy to stick to the mold during processing. In addition, raw rubber has poor stability and is not easy to store.
