Rotary lobe blowers are used in pneumatic conveying, waste water treatment, aquaculture , fish farms, vacuum systems, thermal forming, surface treatment and similar applications.
Roots blowers are used to aerate raw sewage and industrial organic waste. The aeration drives the digestion of the waste by microorganisms. Roots blowers are also used for grit tank cleaning, filter flushing, backwashing and the recovery of gases. Oil-free roots blowers are used for deep cell aeration.
Roots blower is a kind of volumetric blower whose air capacity and
revolution have formed a proportion. Each rotation of the
three-lobe type blower needs three times of air suction&
discharge of two-lobes. Compared to two-lobe type blower, three
lobe roots blower have the characteristics of low air pulsation and
more stable operation.
It has two lobes on the two parallel bearings. There are small tiny
spaces between lobes, elliptic casing as well as each lobe. he
lobes' uniform speed rotation at opposite directions makes the
certain quantity air circled by casing and lobes transported
form the suction side to the discharge side.

It is a safety device on the system. When the system works abnormally and the resistance is higher than the rated value, the pressure relief valve opens to discharge the air from the pressure relief valve to prevent the blower and motor from being overload.
