Flexible Cryogenic Insulation Material Armaflex LT/LTD

 

HX-Cool is a soft closed cell thermal-insulation material which is formed by using rubber and plastic as its main raw material.
It does not contain fiber dust, formaldehyde and working media such as CFC which damage the ozone layer.
HX-Cool is suitable for thermal insulation of all kinds of pipes and equipment with the medium temperature between -50°C and 105°C.
As a high-quality thermal-insulation and energy-conservation material, HX-Cool products, which can fully guarantee the energy-conservation effect of reducing cold-and-heat loss, are currently being widely used in water pipes and air pipes of central air conditioning systems, cold-producing and heat-producing devices, thermal-insulation projects of hot-water pipelines and process pipelines.

1.Low thermal conductivity

 

HX-Cool has a relatively low thermal conductivity, which is ≤ 0.034W/ (m•K) at 0 °C. Its surface heat emission coefficient is high, reaching 9W/ (m²•K). Therefore, in order to achieve the same insulation effect under the same surrounding condition, the utilization thickness of HX-Cool is at least one half thinner than that of traditional insulation materials.

Meanwhile, since HX-Cool is highly capable of resisting the permeation of water vapor, it can maintain stable heat conductivity in the long run; the material has a long service life, notable energy-conservation effect when run on a long-term basis, and a low daily maintenance fee.

3.High damp-resistance factor

 

HX-Cool has a higher damp-resistance factor (u ≥ 10,000),

Forming a real “built-in” vapor barrier, which rendersHX-Cool both an insulation layer and a damp-proof layer. Even when partial wear and tear occurs, its thickness-direction closed cell structure as a whole can still prevent the permeation of external water vapor effectively. As a result, the long-term stability of the material’s thermal-physical property is ensured, and the service life of the product in damp surroundings is extended. By choosing the high damp-resistance factor HX-Cool product for insulation, long-term-operational energy-conservation can be achieved by using thinner insulation thickness.

 

Improved group-foaming structure

After adopting the “Nano—Foaming Technology”, the forming of the product is more even and thorough, and the closed cell smaller and uniform, which helps to restrain the cross-ventilation caused by temperature gradients inside the closed cell and hence further reduces the product’s heat conductivity. The independent, even and small closed cell improve the intensity of the closed cell structure.

HX-Cool has good fireproof properties; aside from confirming to the fireproof level 1 of part 7 of international
standard BS476, it also meets the requirements of fire-retardant B1 level or C level-above stated in Classification
Method on Combustion Performance of Building Materials of the national standard GB 8624.
 
Has the wall thickness needed for thermal-insulation projects
 
HX-Cool has eight series of pipeline materials: D, F, H, M, R, T, U, V. The H, M, R, T series have insulation wall thickness, and their product thickness increases in accordance with the increase of pipeline diameters, hence ensuring that after insulation, pipelines with different diameters reach the same surface temperature under the same design condition. By using HX-Cool pipeline materials with insulation wall thickness for insulation, the amount of material used can be saved to the greatest extent while having the insulation effect ensured.
After determining the design conditions, only one set of calculations is needed to pick up a series of pipeline material, and with that, different anti-condensation thicknesses needed for each pipeline diameter of this series are determined accordingly, which means calculations on other pipeline diameters are not needed. thicknesses. These solutions enable the installations to go faster and easier.

For pipelines with a diameter exceeding 200mm, HX-Cool Company can offer precut HX-Cool board products which match the pipeline perimeter. When multi-layer insulation is needed, HX-Cool can provide precut insulation board materials catering to the different size of each layer.

 

When inner diameter is more than 108mm,using sheet;when thickness is more than 30mm,using two layer.
