Operating Temperature Range
The main features of a thermistor are
① High sensitivity, its temperature coefficient of resistance is 10
to 100 times larger than that of metal, and can detect temperature
changes of 10-6°C;
② Wide operating temperature range, normal temperature devices are
suitable for -55°C ~ 315°C, high temperature devices are suitable
for temperatures higher than 315°C (currently as high as 2000°C),
low temperature devices are suitable for -273°C ~ -55°C;
③Small size, capable of measuring the temperature of gaps, cavities
and blood vessels in living organisms that cannot be measured by
other thermometers;
④Easy to use, the resistance value can be arbitrarily selected from
0.1 to 100kΩ;
⑤Easy to process into complex shapes, and can be mass-produced;
⑥Good stability and strong overload capacity.

thermistor, is a kind of sensor resistance whose resistance value
decreases with the increase of temperature. Widely used in various
electronic components, such as temperature sensors, resettable
fuses and self-adjusting heaters, etc.
