Flame retardant grade European standard/American standard:
1. Vertical combustion method, burning 12 seconds, to see the
carbon damage length, cannot exceed 10cm
2. After leaving the fire source extinguished within 2 seconds
3. Wash 50 times(The flame retardant performance is still available
after 24 hours of continuous washing in industrial washing
machines)
4. Formaldehyde(Coat cannot exceed 300ppm, underwear/child cloth
cannot exceed 75ppm)

Flame resistant fabrics and apparel are intended to resist ignition, prevent the spread of flames away from the immediate area of high heat impingement, and to self-extinguish almost immediately upon removal of the ignition source.

There is no perfect flame-resistant fabric system that meets all
needs. Each FR fiber or treated fabric has certain properties that,
depending on end use requirements,can be either benefits or
shortcomings. Blending different fibers attempts to balance these
properties for maximum fabric performance.
6. What about certificates?
We issue certificates for all flame retarded fabrics. When you
require the fabric to meet a specific fire code, a certificate of
flame retardancy is need. Be sure that the certificate you receive
actually states specified code. In reality, the certificate maybe
just pass a test on another fabric. It is important that you build
a relationship and trust your fabric finisher.
