This kind of device is applied to the overhead power distribution network automatic system from 6KV to 35KV,is used to improve the safe and reliable operating performance through centralized monitoring the current, temperature and fault condition on the power distribution circuit.

The details introduction:

This power distribution fault location and load monitoring system is a set of intelligent device which can remotely transmit the data, monitor, centralized manage, instantly alarm, it includes line fault detection, communication transmission technology, sending SMS to central system and mobile, which can make fault location searching more easily, all lines of one power supply company only need one working main station.

This picture is communicable FCI, one set includes 3 pcs, is installed on the overhead line and composed of detection circuit, analyser circuit, trigger circuit, wireless transmission circuit module, power circuit etc, the functions of FCI are to transmit the detected signals of power on, power off, earth fault and short-circuit to the Data Transmission Terminal through short-distance Radio frequency module. The indicator can be directly installed and uninstalled by specialized tools with live line.

The indicator is in the state of sleeping mode normally, when the line condition changes, it will detect the power off, power on, short-circuit and earth fault signals through fault detection circuit and trigger the circuit to arouse the singlechip, then the singlechip will gather the state data to process and confirm the phenomenon which belong to the state changes then to start on radio frequency transmit module, the frequency modulator will send the fault information in the form of data package safely and accurately to the Data Transmit Unit, the receiver with demodulator of RF receiving and dispatching module in Data Transmit Unit will receive the data from FCI and demodulate then reply to the signal of “receive”, when FCI receive the this replied signal, it will restore to sleeping state.

The in-built timer may stimulate the singlechip every 15 minutes to gather the load current to transmit to Data Terminal Unit. When receive the reply of confirmation, it will return to the sleeping state.

The communicable FCI adopts double power supply mode of solar panel and storage battery of Li. When in the normal working state, the device is though solar panel power supply and also to incharge to the Li battery.
