2 - 1/2 Inch DMF-Y-62S Submerged BFEC Type Pneumatic Pulse Valve With ADC12 Aluminum Body
DMF-Y-62S is G2-1/2 inch Electromagnetic Pulse Valve For Dust Collector Baghouse Cleaning System.
The pulse valve diaphragm divides the pulse valve into front and
rear-an air chamber.
When the electromagnetic pulse valve is connected to the clean
compressed air in the pulse bag type dust removal system, the
compressed air passes through the orifice and enters the rear air
chamber. At this time, the pressure of the rear air chamber presses
the diaphragm against the valve outlet. The pulse valve is closed.
The pulse controller outputs a signal to move the armature of the
pulse valve, the vent hole of the air chamber behind the valve is
opened, the back air chamber quickly loses pressure, the diaphragm
is moved backward, and compressed air is blown through the valve's
air outlet. Start.
The electric signal output by the pulse controller disappears, the
electromagnetic pilot head armature of the pulse valve is reset,
the vent hole of the rear air chamber is closed, and the pressure
of the rear air chamber is increased, so that the diaphragm of the
pulse valve is close to the outlet of the valve. Blowing stops.
The length of the blowing time is controlled by a controller.

Troubleshooting tips for your dust collector’s pulse clean system
Check the pressure in the air manifold – should be 85-100 psi –
clean, dry air, with sufficient volume to maintain pressure.
Check that there is power to the timer control – power light will glow when there is power to the control.
Electrical
Each solenoid has a terminal connected to the output channel on the
timer board, and a terminal connected to the solenoid common
terminal.
If a pressure switch is connected to the timer board, confirm it is
calling for cleaning. If no pressure switch is used, the p.s.
terminals are jumpered together on the timer board.
Timer board is not sequencing, check fuse.
When the timer board is sequencing, an indicator light for each output channel will glow momentarily, as the channel is energized.
Pneumatic
Diaphragm Valves are normally closed. They open for a split second
to allow a burst of compressed air to pulse the filter.
If a diaphragm valve is stuck open, check for leaks in the plastic
tubing and fittings.
Hold a finger over the small bleed port at the end of the electrical solenoid, if air is leaking from this port, the solenoid needs rebuild / replaced.
If no leaks from solenoid valve and tubing, depressurize the manifold and clean/replace the diaphragm and spring in the pulse valve.
If diaphragm valve will not open, confirm there is no kinks in the tubing and check that the electrical solenoid is operating.
