Brief introduction of CNG car and LPG car fuel system:
The CNG car adopts a modified car modification and adds a set of natural gas devices for vehicles while retaining the original vehicle fuel supply system.
The modification is made up of the following four systems:
1. Natural gas storage system: mainly consists of gas-filled
shut-off valve, natural gas storage cylinder, high-pressure
pipeline, high-pressure joints, etc.
2. Natural gas supply system: mainly composed of pressure reducing
regulator, natural gas low pressure pipeline, power valve, mixer
and so on.
3. Fuel conversion system: mainly consists of fuel transfer switch,
gasoline solenoid valve, simulator, ignition time automatic
advancer (optional).
4. Gas display system: mainly composed of high pressure gauge,
pressure sensor, gas display.
When the LNG automobile uses liquefied gas as fuel, the LNG in the gas cylinder enters the pressure reducing regulator through the high pressure pipeline, is decompressed by the pressure reducing regulator, is mixed with the air through the mixer, and then enters the cylinder to be burned, and the compressed liquefied gas is rated by the pressure. The gas pressure is reduced to 4MPa and the vacuum is 49-69Kpa. The pressure reducing regulator can provide different flow rates of natural gas according to the change of vacuum at the mixer throat to meet the requirements of the mixture concentration under different operating conditions of the engine. During the decompression process of LNG, the work is to be inflated and the external heat is absorbed. Therefore, the decompression regulator is also provided with a heating water channel which is heated by the circulating water of the engine. In order to improve the operating performance of the car, the cab is provided with an oil and gas fuel transfer switch for controlling the on and off of the gasoline and the liquefied gas, so as to achieve a smooth transition between the two fuels. In the case of gas, it also has the function of automatically opening the liquefied gas solenoid valve 3 seconds after the engine is turned off, and closing the gas path to avoid natural gas leakage and ensure the safe use of the liquefied gas.
