Overview
The Hokuyo UST-20LX LiDAR sensor is built for robotic intelligence.
It weighs a mere 130g, making it the smallest of its kind and
well-suited for airborne devices like drones and aerial vehicles.
The sensor is also suited for ground vehicles, as it’s built with a
fast response time (25msec) and wide detection angle (270º) to
perform well in fast-moving environments. In fact, even airborne
robotic devices can detect the size, position, and moving direction
of oncoming obstacles with the UST-20LX.
Equipped with an Ethernet interface, it can obtain high-speed,
accurate measurement data in a 270° field of view up to 20 meters.
Due to its low power consumption, this scanner is suitable for
battery-operated platforms.
All necessary wiring/cabling is included. Please refer to the
technical documentation below for wiring instructions. Note:
Reversing the power polarity will damage the sensor!
