Cerium-doped Lutetium Yttrium Orthosilicate(Ce:LYSO) is a crystal scintillator with many attractive properties, such as fast decay, high light yield and high density. Ce:LYSO can be used as a semiconductor in optics, gamma-ray and X-ray detection, imaging, well logging, and high energy physics applications.
