DESCRIPTION:
Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic derivative of Pleuromutilin. It is
highly active against gram-positive organisms, mycoplasmas and
serpulina (Treponema) hyodysenteriae.
INDICATION:
Tiamulin is used for prevention and control of mycoplasmal diseases
such as enzootic pneumonia and chronic respiratory disease in pigs
and poultry; swine dysentery, porcine colonic spirochaetosis and
porcine proliferative enteropathy.
