1. About Hard Turning and CBN
Hard Turning refers to the process of cutting hard metal with hardness between HRC58~70.
Hard Turning problems can be solved easily with cbn inserts in current times. Halnn offer a wide range of cbn grades and all iso models and customized models.
Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is an artifically synthesized material exceeded with hardness only second to diamond. The difference with diamond is that cbn is stable for cutting high hardness metal or other supply alloy mateirals in high temperature (up to 1000 degree)
