Hardware installation
1.Insert the DVI display card into the AGP slot of the motherboard and install the driver for the card.
2.Insert the data acquisition card into an empty PCI slot.
3.Link the data acquisition card to the display card with a DVI cable.
4.Connect the control line to the serial port (Rs232) (optional).
5.Connect to the receiving card with a network cable.
6.The LED display shows that the drive card and the hub are connected in a one-to-one correspondence with 50P flat wires.
7.Check and set up or power on debugging.

Two types of modules:
A. DIP package
DIP package, which is the abbreviation of dual inline-pin package,
commonly known as plug-in type. It was the first to develop. The
LED lamp bead is produced by the manufacturer, and then inserted
into the LED lamp board of the LED by the LED module and the LED
display manufacturer, and the DIP semi-outdoor module and the
outdoor waterproof module are produced through wave soldering.
However, due to the influence of the diameter of the lamp bead,
only P6 can be achieved at present. Other P5, P4 and even higher
density outdoor LED displays cannot be made. However, the
protection performance of the direct insertion is good, but the
viewing angle is not accurate and fixed, generally between 100-110,
and the energy consumption is high, and it is not environmentally
friendly, so it is only suitable for outdoor small-pitch LED
display, and currently in the outdoor P10-P20 Have a large market
share.
Moreover, it is produced by DIP packaging, the process is
complicated, it is not easy to mechanize production, and the
production efficiency is low. In addition, there are many DIP
manufacturers, there is no high technical and equipment threshold,
and the competition is fierce. Many manufacturers use inferior raw
materials and PCB boards to reduce the cost to gain market share,
low quality, and almost no perfect after-sales guarantee.
B. SMD package
SMD package, meaning: surface mount device, which is one of the SMT
components. Surface mount components were introduced about twenty
years ago and have opened up a new era. For a long time it has been
thought that all pin components will eventually be available in SMD
packages. SMD technology is widely used in LED outdoor displays.
We often say that the three-in-one label is actually a kind of SMD
technology, which means that the SMT lamps of RGB three different
color LED chip packages are packaged in the same glue body at a
certain interval.
The advantages of the standard three-in-one outdoor full-color LED
display are as follows: the full-screen viewing angle is relatively
large, and the surface can be treated with light diffuse
reflection. The obtained effect is not granular, the color
saturation is high, and the color uniformity is good. . The overall
flatness of the three-in-one is easier to control and has always
been the standard technology used in high-definition outdoor LED
displays.
With the continuous improvement of technology development and
production technology in recent years, SMD has developed rapidly
and cost reduced. It is currently the mainstream product of LED
indoor display. Moreover, it has developed rapidly in the outdoor
market, but brightness and waterproof and moisture-proof have
always been difficult to overcome. I believe that the entire
industry continues to develop, the development of outdoor LED
display is the direction of the surface.
