Performance
● As a transparent physical barrier, the window allows light to
enter from one environment to a different one.
● The material is Lithium Fluoride crystal, and its transmittance
ranges from 105nm in vacuum UV to 6.0μm in IR. It
is the material with the best transmittance in vacuum UV. Such crystals are widely used to make optical windows,
lenses, prisms and reflectors in UV-VIS-IR field. Moreover, the crystal can also be used as an X ray detector crystal.
Due to its low refractive index, the crystal can be directly used without anti-reflection and coating measures. As a
window material, Lithium Fluoride crystal is an excellent achromatic and apochromatism material. It is widely used
for prisms,UV and IR transmission window lenses in optical instruments.
● The surface reflection loss varies with the refractive index of
the material when light penetrates the window .
