Other Remarks

1.Don’t touch the LED’s face in case breaking wires down; Oil on hand also absorbs deep UV! Always use tweezers and wear gloves during manual installation and wear eye protection during DUV LED operation.

2.Use constant-current source specifically designed for DUV LEDs. Failure to properly re-adjust visible LED drivers will lead to severely damaged DUV LED, or shorten their usable life.

3.DUV LEDs must not be allowed to operate without heat-sink.Always use good thermal compound to attach the backside of LEDs to the heat-sink,and taking care to avoid air bubbles in the thermal compound. The P8D series in our company has been connected to heat dissipation.

4.In consideration of the low reverse voltage and sensitive electric property, the reverse voltage would be high and the wires or the dies would be broken down if the anode and the cathode being used in the wrong way. Please do recognize the anode and cathode when using the DUV LEDs.

5.Deep UV is harmful to your eyes, please do not watch closely or watch in a long time and do not observe through magnifying glass and microscope.
