When the retaining wheel is close to the rotary direction of the kiln body, the rotation of the wheel belt will produce downward friction on the surface of the retaining wheel, so that the thrust bearing at the bottom is overstressed and fails.

Rotary kiln, on the other hand, usually some slope when installation requirements, so the hydraulic gear wheel base also have corresponding installation Angle, such gear wheel and belting leather on the height direction of contact to reach more than 90%, and once the Angle deviation is bigger, the contact surface will appear only in the upper or lower would be less than 50% of the area, thus affecting shaft bending distance; Torque and other stress conditions cause shaft failure; The wheel belt and the retaining wheel surface due to uneven processing or wear will cause bad meshing, resulting in impact damage to the shaft.

(2) The bolts of foundation plate are too small

Generally in the design of the retaining wheel are considered to calculate and check the force of the retaining wheel and the base plate connecting bolt group, but may ignore the base plate foundation bolt checking or the safety factor is small.

(3) The interference of the shaft hole of the retaining wheel is small

Under impact load, especially when the key is also selected relatively loose fit can not meet the requirements of use, it is easy to cause rolling key, block wheel and other fault phenomenon.

Shaft parts once improper material selection, may lead to its own mechanical properties can not meet the requirements of use; Improper processing or heat treatment may lead to stress concentration or crack source, which can easily lead to cracking failure.
