KCF Guide Pins /Sleeve is not an insulation coating but a specially
processed insulation material which does not peel.
Has been being used in resistance welding applications for several
decades. It has an insulated skin on its surface. Any shape can be
made quickly. Our standard shapes are cheaper in the business.
KCF Weld Guide Sleeves are commonly used in stud welding applications where a stud welding electrode is used to join a metal stud to a workpiece. The KCF sleeve is designed to provide insulation and protection to the stud welding electrode during the welding process.
When using a KCF Weld Guide Sleeve with stud welding electrodes, the sleeve is placed over the electrode prior to welding. The electrode is then inserted through the sleeve and positioned onto the workpiece. The sleeve helps to prevent the electrode from sticking to the workpiece, which can cause damage to the electrode and reduce the quality of the weld.
In addition to stud welding, KCF sleeves can also be used for bolt welding applications. In bolt welding, a threaded stud is welded to a workpiece to create a secure threaded connection. The KCF Sleeve for Bolt Welding is designed to fit over the threaded stud and provide insulation and protection to the stud during the welding process.
